b. What is the jurisdiction of the Circuit Court of Appeals, and what is heard there, as well as the procedure for bringing a case before it?

c. What is the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS), and what may be heard here, as well as the procedure for bringing a case before it?

d. Where is it written that SCOTUS is the “final authority” on all U. S. Constitutional issues?

2. How is the State System(s) organized, and by what authority?

a. What is the generic name for the initial level of State Courts? Is it the same in all States? What is it called in your home State?

b. Do all States have a mid-level Court of Appeals? If not, why is this so?

c. Do all States have a Supreme Court? What is its authority, and how might one bring a case from the State Supreme Court to SCOTUS? Does SCOTUS always hear appeals from a State Supreme Court? Why, or why not?
