The Hierarchy of Rules in International Law: the Role of Jus Cogens

Writing Critique of international law in general principle, convention, custom, resolution, declaration, etc. within the legal system.
the critique should include a detailed identification and definition of the theme/issue/principle of international law of the topic. the discussions must include a general impression, analysis and evaluation of IL in term of strengths, weaknesses, effectiveness, justice etc. is should also include an analysis of IL from a perspective other than the western tradition. this entails some research on my part to find critical analyses of IL, for example from a third world feminist, environment, Marxist, perspectives. it must incorporate at least two or three articles from scholarly journals in the analysis/evaluation of IL. also use your text book (Antonio Cassese, International Law, 2th edition. oxford university press, 2005)
